More about Lauryn

Lauryn started Events by Lauryn after years of working in the industry and realizing she wanted to build something of her own. Her journey with events began long before she launched this business — from being a DJ at weddings in college to planning events in her sorority, she's loved every step of it.

Growing up in Duluth, MN, she was always surrounded by the magic of weddings thanks to her dad, who owns and runs Arthur’s Formal Wear. Watching his passion for helping people feel their best on such an important day inspired her to bring that same heart into her own work. Now based in the Twin Cities, she still makes time to visit Duluth — especially in the summer and fall (there’s nothing like a North Shore sunrise)!

When she’s not planning events, you’ll probably find her curled up with a good book, at a concert, or getting crafty. She loves painting, embroidery, and making handmade cards. Creativity is a big part of who she is and plays a role in how she approaches event planning. Let’s work together to create an event you’ll always remember!
